Laser Engraving in Sowerby Bridge
This is home. Laser & Ink is based in Sowerby Bridge, and everything we sell is engraved or printed here. If you live in Sowerby Bridge, Sowerby, Norland, Triangle or up the Ryburn Valley, you’ve got a laser engraving workshop just around the corner.
A workshop, not a shop
We’re a small, independent maker working from a workshop, so there’s no shopfront, showroom or opening hours, and please don’t call round unannounced. What it does mean is that the person who answers your email is the person who’ll make your order, and every design is checked by eye before it goes on the laser or the printer.
For custom and business orders, local collection is the obvious choice: we’ll agree a time with you when it’s ready, and you skip the postage. Shop orders go out by Royal Mail for £4.99, made in 1–3 working days and usually delivered 2–3 working days after dispatch. If you’d rather collect a shop order, email grant@laserandink.co.uk and ask.
What we can make for Sowerby Bridge
For the bars, cafés and businesses in town
Between the town centre and the canal basin, Sowerby Bridge has a good mix of pubs, bars, cafés and independent shops. Engraved wooden beer mats are ideal for all of them: 95mm round, 7mm thick, four rubber feet, and engraved with your name or logo. We also make small wooden and slate signs, table numbers and engraved glassware. For any of these, ask for a custom engraving quote.
For schools, groups and local events
Engraved coasters, printed t-shirts and hoodies suit local groups, fundraisers, leavers and community events. Personalised hoodies come in kids’ and adult sizes, and our guide to ordering for groups explains how to order several personalised items at once.
For gifts
- Photo engraved wooden coasters – a favourite photo, engraved into wood.
- Home bar beer mats – choose a design and add your bar name.
- Engraved pint glasses – up to three lines of text, wrapped around the glass on our rotary attachment.
- Christmas gifts, from stockings to photo baubles.
Bring your own item
Being local makes it easier to engrave something you already own, such as a wooden box, a chopping board or a leather keyring. Send us a photo and details first so we can check it’s suitable. We may ask to test on a hidden area. Our laser is a 10W diode, which works well on wood, slate, leather, glass and coated metals, but it can’t engrave clear acrylic, or bare stainless steel without a marking spray.
Getting in touch
For custom work, use the quote form and tell us what you need, how many and when. We reply within 1–2 working days and send a digital proof before anything is made. For anything else, see our contact page or the FAQs.
