Laser Engraving in Brighouse & Elland
We make laser engraved and printed gifts to order for customers in Brighouse, Elland and the villages around them. Our workshop is a short way up the Calder Valley in Sowerby Bridge, so you can have your order posted or, for custom jobs, collect it by arrangement.
A few miles up the river
Elland is only a few miles east of Sowerby Bridge, and Brighouse a little further down the valley beyond it. Laser & Ink is a small, independent maker working from a workshop rather than a shop, so we don’t have a showroom or opening hours. What we do have is our own laser and printing kit, and a real person who checks every design before it’s made.
Shop orders are made in 1–3 working days and posted by Royal Mail for a flat £4.99, usually arriving 2–3 working days after dispatch. Custom and business orders can be collected from Sowerby Bridge by arrangement.

- Tell us what you need, how many, and your deadline, with any artwork attached.
- We reply within 1–2 working days with a price and turnaround.
- You approve a digital proof. Nothing is engraved until you’re happy.
- We make it, then post it or arrange collection.
Use the quote form or our contact page. Our 10W diode laser works well on wood, slate, leather, glass and coated metals, but it can’t engrave clear acrylic, or bare stainless steel without a marking spray.
Frequently asked questions
Can I collect an order in person?
For custom and business orders, collection from Sowerby Bridge can be arranged once your order is ready. We don’t have a shop, so collection is by appointment only.
Do you engrave logos for businesses?
Yes, as long as it’s your logo or you have permission. Vector files are ideal, but we can work from a good PNG or JPG, or redraw a logo for you.
Can you engrave stainless steel tools or flasks?
Not bare stainless steel, as our 10W diode laser can’t mark it without a special marking spray. Painted or powder-coated flasks and anodised aluminium usually engrave well. Send us details and we’ll advise.
