Personalised Chopping Boards

Why the design is printed underneath

On our personalised glass chopping board, your design is printed onto the underside of the glass and viewed through the top. Knives only ever touch the glass, so they can't scratch the lettering or photo away. The board sits on non-slip rubber feet and is heat resistant.

Choosing a size and finish

• Small, 8" × 11" (textured): a handy size for chopping herbs, slicing a lemon or serving a few nibbles.
• Round, 12" (smooth): a smooth top shows a photo off crisply and makes a striking cheese or pizza board.
• Large, 28.5 × 39cm (textured): plenty of room for a family name and photo, and for proper meal prep.

The textured boards have a lightly dimpled top surface; the round board is smooth glass.

What to put on your board

You get a main line of up to 22 characters and a second line of up to 30, plus an optional photo. Some favourites:

• A family name with "Est." and the year you moved in or married
• "Made with love" and Grandma's name, for the family baker
• A couple's names and wedding date, with a photo from the day
• A pet portrait for the kitchen of a dog lover

Glass or wood?

Glass is hygienic, easy to clean and lets us print in full colour, but it is harder on knife edges than wood. Many people use theirs for serving and lighter prep and keep it on display the rest of the time. If you have your heart set on an engraved wooden board, ask through our custom laser engraving service. We don't list one at the moment, but we're happy to talk it through.

Care

Wash by hand in warm soapy water. Hand washing also protects the rubber feet.
